Gen Mgt1. a form of management. Business administration is used as a synonym for management, notably in government or the public sector. This use has developed from the administration school of thought established by Henri Fayol, which defines management activities as a set of processes. He argued that to manage was to plan, organize, coordinate, command, and control. These principles were put into exemplary practice by Alfred P.
